It's Tuesday the 11th of March and it's my last day of rest before the big game. Been having the most amazing time here. We went to the coastal village down in Adler, Sochi and attended a sledge hockey match between Canada and Norway. There was a packed stadium to watch a great game that Canada won 4-0. Then we spent the day wondering around Adler in very nice spring conditions under a blue ski with very balmy 20degree temperatures.
We had a short day on the practice track yesterday to get a feel of snowbaords back under feet, again under blue ski with again very balmy temperatures. Which to day have been replaced with fairly balmy temps with fog and rain falling, so I'm not going out there in that so you get a short blog post before tomorrow and we go under media blackout until friday night after our race.
All in all this has been the experience of a life time forsure. Maybe it's motivating enough to try and get to this again in 4 years time.
So wish me luck and tune in 10am Friday the 14th Sochi, Russia time to see me go do battle with the best in the world.
