Current Positions: 
Shuttle Bus Drivers 

We are searching for personable, capable, highly organized shuttle bus drivers to ensure the safe transport of our passengers for the 2022/2023 ski season. We transport guests to and from various points throughout BC, Spokane International airport & within Rossland to Red Mountain & beyond using 14 passenger vans. 
Can’t cross into the US? No worries, local drivers are needed for BC routes as well!

We require a Class 4 or better BC Drivers License, Criminal record check (Vulnerable sector), test drive with us. You should have your own vehicle, be able to lift at least 50 lbs, and ideally be able to diagnose and remedy basic mechanical issues that may arise.


We have full time/part time and on-call positions available in Rossland and Nelson beginning mid-December 2022 through the ski season 2023. Compensation will be $19-$23 per hour based on experience.

Mountain Bike Coach for Summer 2023

Kootenay Mountain Biking strives to create a personalized, memorable mountain experience
that leaves guests feeling like old friends that will want to return time and time again.
From young kids through to kids young at heart Kootenay Mountain Bike programs build a
feeling of support, fun and once completed the guest leaves with an increased confidence and
a deeper friendship with their bike.


We are recruiting occasional part-time and full-time seasonal coaches for the upcoming bike
season in the West Kootenays, BC.
Working alone or with a team, coaches are required to lead and support participants in
afterschool and in-school programming, summer camps, clinics, private lessons and guiding.
Coaches are expected to provide exceptional coaching and fun for participants, keeping them
safe, building a fun team environment and teaching them mountain biking skills!


Job Type: Full Time & Part-Time, Seasonal

Location: Rossland, Trail, Castlegar & Nelson. Majority of the work is in Rossland.

Dates: Mid-April to September, 2023

Wage: $23-$28, based on certification and experience

Coach Responsibilities
- Coaching youth aged 7-13 in after school programs, summer camps & in-school
programs
- Instruct in both private and group settings
- Choose appropriate terrain, manage risks and promote high level of trail etiquette
-Drive guests to trailhead or camp location
- Guest services - eg: bike quick fixes and problem solving



Minimum qualifications:
-Coaching Certification PMBIA or BCIP - Prior coaching experience is an asset however
we are hiring for all experience levels
-NCCP level 1
-First Aid - min 20 hour course
-Criminal Record Check
-Class 4 drivers license

Proven genuine interest and love for Mountain Biking
Must use own bike on the job
Competent with trail side bike maintenance

Preferred qualifications:
Experience working with youth and facilitating groups
Familiar with the West Kootenay Trail Networks

For the right candidates, KMB will fund the acquiring of minimum certifications with the
agreement to work the full summer season.
