Ian Lockey
Natasha Lockey along with her husband Ian founded KMBC out of their passion to share Mountain Biking with Kids and Adults alike. Happiest out on her bike or snowboard inspiring others to enjoy the sports as she does. Natasha started with her Women's Action Sports Community BettyGoHard back in 2002. This has expanded into KMBC, Mountain Shuttle Transport and Kootenay Snowshoeing.
Originally from New Zealand, she loves being in action and inspiring others to get active and enjoy their backyards.
Join her to build your skills and confidence, get a fresh perspective and regain that childlike love of playing for the fun of playing!
She is a certified mountain bike coach with 9 years of experience teaching in the Kootenays and further afield, ski guide, snowshoe guide, snowboard instructor and coach and loves being outside! She has been running mountain biking programs along with several other activities in the Kootenays for the past 8 years.
Ryan Kuhn is the founder of Cycleye coaching, a new enterprise developed to fill a need in the Kootenay community for high end coaching. Ryan's focus is on teens looking to take their biking to the next level as well as the intermediate to advanced adult rider - male or female. With a lifelong experience in racing, his experience is invaluable. Formerly a professional snowboarder, he has also raced motocross, street bikes and for the past 13 years, mountain bikes. He has been involved in all aspects of racing, including organization and promotion with events such as the infamous Golden Psychosis (RIP). For the past few years, he has been the Co-Manager and Coach for the PerformX Downhill Team. Additionally, he is the director of the Dreadhead Super D in Rossland, BC, and is working to develop a new Super D series in the Kootenays of British Columbia for 2013.

Ian Lockey is a member of the Canadian Paralympic BoarderX team and has been racing snowboards for the past 8 years. Ian was left with a 50% paralysis from the waist down after a snowboard accident in 1998. Not letting that slow him down, he has achieved many great things since then: a 2011 Winter X Games competitor, 2007, 2009, 2010 Overall USASA National Snowboard Champion. He is a qualified mountain bike coach, snowboard instructor and coach. His disability doesn't slow him down.

Tracey Billett
Phil is a guy with a very confused accent who has been a Rosslander since arriving in 2006 for "one winter". He grew up riding bikes on the outskirts of London, England and has brought the skills he developed in suburbia to the trails of the Kootenays.
Phil loves to ride technical lines and skinnies, where balance and bike control are key. His best ride buddy is his dog, Gromit.
When he's not coaching or guiding on 2 wheels you can find Phil on 8 wheels, coaching the Kootenay Kannibelles roller derby team. Since 2011 he has coached the 'Belles to the Canadian national championships and a nationwide ranking of 6th.
Whether on skis, snowboard, longboard, unicycle, snowmobile or Mt. Bike, Johnny 's smooth and knowledgeable. Using his photography as a cash generating vehicle he has managed to do little more than ride mountains for the last 29 years!
He has been fortunate to reside in Whistler, La Grave, Fernie and now calls Rossland his home.
KMBC is proud to welcome him as our newest guide/ coach/photographer.He knows the trails of the Kootenays intimately and is available to shoot photos of your day.
Tera came to the Kootenays to live the lifestyle she loves. She's a Snowboard Instructor and Coach from the west coast.
