Explore the spectacular forest area around the base of Red Resort with one of our professional guides. Our tours will take you on a route hard to find without a Kootenay Snowshoe guide, always looking for the freshest snow and most enjoyable experience.
The tour is adapted to all levels and includes a short introductory lesson for those new to snowshoeing. Our guides will share information on snowshoeing, local history as well as show you a snow crystal under a microscope and test the snow depth. Guests experience the freshest snow we can find and adventure into the natural habitat of local birds and animals. Stops are made to enjoy the view and points of interest along the way.

Thursday Evening Snowshoe Tours - on offer from January 7th 2016- February 25th 2016 leaving from "Get Lost Adventure Center at Red Resort.
Looking for an alternative to skiing on Thursday night? Come out and experience the magic of a winter's night on a evening Snowshoe Tour, including a delicious campfire hot chocolate. Venturing out on a guided trek to find the best snow you will experience beautiful forest trails in the peace and tranquility of a winter’s night.
Guests will return to the Get Lost Adventure Centre for a hot chocolate around the bonfire and watch the last of the night skiing.
An experience for everyone to enjoy, families with children 8 years and older and adults young at heart will enjoy this evening under the stars.
Cost: $39 +gst (includes exploring the local trails at night and finishing with a hot chocolate)
Departs: 6pm - for a 2 hour tour - hot chocolate included.
